BEFORE YOU APPLY

Please make sure your organization meets these basic requirements:
  •  Nonprofit Status - Be an eligible tax-exempt nonprofit organization 
  • Youth & Community Focus - Your mission or proposed program should support youth and positively impact the community.
  • Clear Use of Funds -Be prepared to explain how the requested funding will be used and the impact you expect to achieve.
  •  Participate in the Review Process -Be willing to participate in an interview and, when applicable, a site visit.
  •  Partnership & Follow-Up  -If selected, agree to recognize Ambrose Foundation as a community partner and provide a brief report on how funds were used.
  • One application per organization per annual funding cycle.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Our annual funding process is designed to be fair, transparent and impactful.

1. LEARN

Review our eligibility requirements, guiding principles and funding priorities. 

2. PREPARE  

Gather information about your organization, programs, impact, budget and how funds will be used.

3. APPLY

Download,  complete the application and submit application and requested documents by deadline.

4. REVIEW

Applications are reviewed by our selection committee and may include and interview and site visit.

5. DECISION

Organizations selected for funding will be notified by email or phone 8 weeks post application closing date.

Ambrose Foundation Inc. accepts funding applications during a designated annual application period.

  •  501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
  • Programs and initiatives that support youth and communities
  • Projects with measurable outcomes and sustainable impact
  • Organizations demonstrating strong leadership and community need
WHAT WE DON'T FUND
  • Individuals 
  • Government agencies 
  • For-profit businesses
  • Private foundations
  • Organizations that are not tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3)
  • Organizations that have not obrainted a Federal Tax Number (EIN)
